Getting around Melbourne is fairly easy depending what you choose as your mode of transport. You have the option of Lime Ebikes, Uber, Trams, Trains or Busses of walking.

Just a 2 minute walk to the corner of Smith and Gertrude street you can take tram 86 at stop number 15 into the city centre Bourke street and Swanston street. Along the way the tram stops at the Exhibition centre and Carlton gardens and also passes Parliament station for train connections.

Any stop on Bourke street you can change to tram number 96 to go to South Melbourne market, St Kilda or St kilda beach.

Coming back from the city you get off at the corner of Smith and Gertrude street.

If you are looking to got to the inner south suburbs such as Prahran, St kilda, Richmond or the MCG or Tennis centre you can walk about 7 minutes east along Langridge st to Hoddle st and cross over and take bus number 246. The bus driver will help you if you ask with where you are looking to get off.

If you would like to take a train into Flinders St station for alt train connections or to go to the National Gallery of Ian Potter gallery. You will need to walk about 13 minutes to Collingwood station.

You can also take a train here to get to Clifton Hill, Northcote and Thornbury.
